5 reasons why being single is awesome!

Hey guys!
Hows things? Firstly, Happy New Year!! How's your 2017?! So much has happened lately!! I've bought a new car, got a new job and i'm off to Iceland next week!! I'm so excited! Can't wait to tell you all about it! So today I'll be sharing my reasons why being single is awesome!! Enjoy ;)

1. More time for yourself.
Yes! More time to focus on you, more time to travel, study or whatever you want to do! You choose!

2. More money for you.
No date for valentines? So what! Take yourself out to dinner instead! Take yourself on holiday! Buy yourself flowers or diamonds! You don't have to wait for a male to buy them for you.

3. No heartbreak.
When your single, you call the shots. if you wanna date, you can. if you don't then that's ok! At least no-one will break your heart!

4. No pregnancy panic.
'Nuff said!

5. More time to focus on career.
Many people like staying single until their 30's as it means that they can focus on their career and building up a stronger financial future before they settle down. Sounds very wise to me!

So, there we have it! Those are my top five reasons why its great to be single! Hope you enjoyed reading!
Til next time, guys!

How to play 'Hard To Get'

Hello everyone!! How are we?
So, following on from my last post, my male 'ex-best-friend' has contacted me again!!
It simply reads... "Hey Em, hopefully you don't hate me........just wanted to say I hope you're OK"
Well, i felt like replying "Yup. Never better! Was fine 'til you messaged..."! Like, what right does he think he has to message me after dumping me by text?! Because obviously I'm just gonna be like "Yeah!!! Hey best friend!! OMG missed you loads!! Was literally just thinking about you!! Lets meet up!!"..... UMMMMMMMMM.....NAHHHHHHH! No thank you!! Why on earth would i give him another chance! Let alone a reply!
So!!!! As they say, 'treat 'em mean, keep 'em keen!' Which i actually think is very true! Don't let someone take something from you and use you without you taking and using first! Harsh, but very true! Guys are more likely to stick around because they love the chase. So, since now i'm practically an expert on this technique of dating.... Here's how to play "Hard to get"!!

1. Take FOREVER to reply: Don't reply straight away!! Act like you're hardly ever on your phone!

2. If you have WhatsApp, View the message but then don't reply for ages: You know those really annoying blue ticks? Use thoose to your advantage!!

3. Use other social media since he sent the message: So, if you have this person that you're teasing on another form of social media (i.e. Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter etc) update your 'Story'/'Status' etc since he sent his last message! This appears like you're way too busy having a life to reply to his message! He isn't high on your priorities!

4. Be mysterious: Don't tell him all your deepest and darkest secrets on the first date. Let him work hard to win your attention and trust first. Also, dress conservatively - no boobs, thigh or midriff on show!! He has to work hard to see your beautiful body!! Only the lucky ones hit the jackpot!!

5. Be unattainable: If he asks you on a date, remember that YOU'RE BUSY!!! (Well, the first couple of times anyway). Don't get all excited when he asks you out!! HE should be the one who's excited to take you out!! Not the other way round! You're the prize to be won, remember!

6. Remind him there's competition: So gently hint that he's up against loads of other guys and you'll only choose the best of the lot! Something like saying "This guy at my work really fancies me! Keeps asking me out all the time!" Or "My neighbour asked me out for dinner the other day!" or "Someone left flowers on my desk at work yesterday! Still trying to find out who this secret admirer is!" It will drive him crazy and he'll work harder for your attention!

Okay so that's it!! Hope you enjoyed todays post! I'll be back shortly!
Love,

How To Survive Christmas Without A Boyfriend.

Hello everyone!
And Merry Christmas to you all!
Today, I'll be sharing my secrets to surviving christmas without a boyfriend. all my friends at the moment seem to have their 'special someone'. While I'm sitting at home in my onesie scoffing mince pies and a ton of chocolate (and of course a glass of something red) in front of the TV, my mates are on fantastic dates with handsome men, swapping funny stories and christmas presents under the mistletoe. Surely, I can't be the only one?? There are well over 7 billion people on this planet and I can't seem to find one that wants to stay. But, chin up!! Here's my five ways to survive christmas without a winter boyfriend...

1. Party with your single friends! - We all have that one friend that is a complete party animal! And what better way to spend the party season than to party!! So get that LBD (little black dress) on and those really cute kitten heels and paint the town red!!!

2. Curl up with a good book - That's right! Not only is it the season to be jolly, but it's also the season to be freezing! So shut the curtains, put on your onesie and whack out Bridget Jones's Diary!!

3. SHOPPING!! - Not all of us are organised and have all our presents under the tree by the 1st of December haha! So since there's late night shopping why not have a browse on the high street! You can pick up some lovely gifts for your friends! Me and soph actually went to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland a couple of weeks ago! Theres lovely christmas markets and food stalls to buy mulled wine and, of course, there are rides and ice skating!!!

4. Get a new pet - A few weeks ago I got a new Hamster called Cinnamon! (Call me sad but they make fantastic pets!) You'll be so busy looking after your new pet and welcoming it to your family that you won't have time to think about men!

5. Make more time for your family! - Time flies and you soon realise that It's been a month since you've seen your grantparents! Well, why not pay them a visit! Arrive with a gift (I got mine a box of Milk Tray which they LOVE) and have a nice cuppa and a chin wag. They'll be so happy just to see you! That's what christmas is all about after all. It's about spending time with the people closest to you!!

So those are my tips for enjoying christmas without a man! No need to fret! Just follow these tips and everything will work out for the best! Have a wonderful and happy Christmas everyone!!
